What we develop

Four fields, the same work. What differs is who the storage plant serves and where in the grid it sits.

Grid-scale storage

The plant stands on its own site and works for the market: charging when power is cheap, feeding in when it is dear, plus balancing services and avoided Redispatch.

Here a project almost never hangs on the technology. It hangs on the site, on the connection point, and on the order in which the two are secured.

Industry, behind the meter

A storage plant at the works connection shaves the annual peak and lowers the demand charge. The basis is the site's actual load profile, never an average — a year's peak often arises on a single afternoon.

Apply for less connection capacity than the load needs at its peak and cover the difference from storage. That shortens the wait for a grid connection — which currently decides the site.

A battery storage plant beside an existing 565 kWp photovoltaic array, both on one grid connection point.1 The industry calls that case Co-location.

Why one project instead of a list of other people's billion-euro transactions: a concrete site shows where things actually hang. Here it is not the technology but the question of how storage operation sits with the existing array's running EEG remuneration.

Perhaps it lies along a road that already carries pylons. Perhaps someone has asked before. One phone call tells you whether anything can come of it — and if not, why not. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
