Taizhou, January 2025: a guest at the SAV Digital Power partner conference

Who invited us. Zhejiang SAV Digital Power Technology Co., Ltd. is based in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, and builds battery storage for commerce and industry: cabinet systems, plus solutions that combine solar, storage and charging. By its own account the company operates in more than 110 countries and works with over 2,000 distribution partners.¹ We were one of them — as a distributor, at the time still under the name Sunbrave Energy.

The conference. The SV Global Partner Development Conference brought partners from many countries together in Taizhou: a look inside the factory, a technical programme and the presentation of the Strategic Partner Awards. On stage stood distributors from several countries — and us. The certificate we brought home is our authorisation as a distributor.

Inside the factory. What we looked at: final assembly of the cabinet systems — battery modules, cabling, testing before the cabinet is closed. The cabinets we knew were air-cooled; SAV now also builds liquid-cooled systems, and development continues. For us the cell matters less than everything around it: how modules are inserted, wired and tested before a system leaves the yard — because that is exactly where the questions on site come from later.

What it means for projects. For our work in Germany the visit changes nothing: we develop, build and operate storage projects, and which technology is installed is decided by the project — not by a supplier. Outside Europe it is different: anyone who wants to source storage of this kind there, or develop projects with it, can ask us — from trading the systems to project development.
